We call for unity against ICE U.S. federal policy of domestic terrorism. These attacks are not new to our people. From the 19th century war to occupy our lands with a false promise in treaty to accept our legal right to live in these lands, to the 20th century federal policies of the “Repatriation Movement”, “Bracero Program”, “Operation Wetback”, and various deportation laws, we are again the target of racist & terroristic demonization and attack.

The 50th Chicano Moratorium Committee extends a gracious and appreciative message to all our past and current supporters/participants at our annual commemoration events celebrating August 29, 1970. Our committee continues to remind the community of the Chicano/a civil rights movement dating back to the 1960s, and the actions taken to stop war, educate, organize and seek social justice for all.
