Join us for our annual commemoration of the Chicano Moratorium on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 10 AM to 3PM at Belvedere Park Amphitheatre (East LA Civic Center/Library, 4837 E. 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90022). Free parking structure, with disabled access and seating, and Gold Line Station.

This will be a family-friendly festival with special guests, live music, great food, vendors, speakers, raffles, educational and health information, and more! Each year the 50th Chicano Moratorium Committee holds an event to remember the Chicano Moratorium of 1970 and the Chicano Civil Rights Movement. Also celebrating the lives of LA Times reporter, Ruben Salazar, Brown Beret, Lynn Ward, and Angel Diaz, killed on August 29, 1970.
