General Meeting 8/14

Greetings from the 50th Chicano Moratorium Committee! We are excited to announce our fourth and final “In Person” General Meeting on Saturday, August 14th.

We will meet at:

10:00 AM

The 50th Chicano Moratorium Committee is dedicated to educating people about the Chicano Civil Rights Movement, and the events that led up to the historical Chicano Moratorium of August 29, 1970. Each year we participate in a commemorative event. Last year, due to Covid-19, our event took place in the form of a Caravan and was attended by several hundred people.

This year we are happy to once again be planning an in-person event, which will still adhere to any future Covid protections and safety guidelines.

As we plan our August 29, 2021 event, we would like to invite you all to attend our General Meeting. We will discuss the progress of our planning, and we need your help!
