Greetings from the Chicano Moratorium Committee!

The Chicano Moratorium Committee is dedicated to educating people about the Chicano Civil Rights Movement, and the events that led up to the historical Chicano Moratorium, August 29, 1970. Each year we participate in a commemorative event.

Last year, due to Covid-19, our event took place in the form of a Caravan and was attended by several hundred people. This year we are happy to be once again planning an in-person event, which will still adhere to any future Covid protections and safety guidelines.

As we plan our August 29, 2021 event we would like to invite you all to attend our General Meeting, which will be held on Saturday, June 5 at 10:00 am. Here is the link for the meeting.
